FFII mount to Remington 870
April 28, 2012, 10:55:30 PM
What is the best way for me to mount a Fastfire II to my Remington 870. Does it mount directly to the receiver, a weaver mount, or do I have to buy a special base?
Sorry if this have been gone over before. I did a search but was confused on the mounting of this sight.
Thanks

You can use a weaver type base, or a Marlin 336 base that I know of. The weaver base is less expensive, but the Marlin base gets it lower. I just picked up a ff2 and a Marlin base from the classifieds here to go on my 870 20 gauge.

Also heres some info in another thread where I asked about the speedbead which I guess would be another option for a 12 gauge 870.
