I not real big on numbers but I was wandering what good numbers would be on hevi shot #5s. I got 151 in a ten inch circle at 40 yards.

thats a very very good number for 5's, if people think the 7's knock birds dead, then they should see that the 5's do to em

Yeah i shot a bunch today it was very nice about 70 degrees. I got 134 with winchester extended #5s and 183 with the magnum blends. I really liked the hevi shot 5s the best which that pattern surprised me didn't think it would have been that good im shooting a Benelli m1 with a kicks in it I tried a pure gold in it but no good results at all.

3" or 3.5? With 3" thats awesome with 3.5" its still good but room for improvement. My Extrema 2 Beretta will average around 210 or so but its probably better than most. Either way that many pellets in #5 Hevi's will whoop a turkey for sure and you don't have a thing to worry about. Good luck

150 Heavyshot #5's in the old Remington shells would smoke an old gobbler. I wish they hadn't quit making them I wouldn't have had to change chokes and loads.
