I talked to a few guys on here and they say that the Rossi I got for $50 could have the barrel treaded for a choke tube. The Rossi is a 22" barrel and is 4.5lbs. I am guessing getting the barrel threaded will cost $50-75 and the choke tube another $40-60. Would I be better off selling the Rossi for $100 and then getting an H&R that has a threaded choke system already or should go for it and try to make the Rossi a 40 yard gun. I would shoot H-13 #7 or Federal #7s. After getting this new hunting land that is all hills, I want a light gun for walking up and down hills.
