I was working today, and going over some prescribed burning, and checking the lines. As I was driving to the spots, I noticed all the beautiful colors of Spring, starting to show here in the South. Yellow buds from honeysuckle vines, red bud trees, white buds of pear trees, and the green grasses from the deer fields. I drove up on two turkeys strutting in the road. Bright blue, white, and red heads glowing in the air. It's getting to be SPRING TIME!!
I pondered on Spring time, turkey hunting and the annual Spring cleaning of our homes. I thought about our temple, and the home we have with Christ. I though about the many people who often clean their homes to no avail, due to their foundations being weak.
Matthew 7:24-27

The Wise and Foolish Builders
24 "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash."
It doesn't matter about the repairs we make to our selves in Spring time, if our temple isn't build on the rock of Jesus. All other foundations will fail with time. Have you put your salvation in Jesus, or is your foundation slowly cracking away?
It's an easy build, all you need to do is to ask Him, and He will build you a foundation in Eternity. If your still unsure, ask me, or the others here, and we will gladly help.
Father God,
Thank you for being readily available to build our temple, through the blood of Jesus. Help us to remember you in all we do, say, and exhibit through our daily lives. Thank you for your words which are true and ever lasting. Help us to follow your ways, and teach them to others who do not know you. It is in your glory, and honor, we seek to do these things.
