Benelli Steady grip- attaching a sling

I know u put delete on the thread, but here goes.  I do not like the sling attachment.  I drilled and tapped a hole for a standard sling stud on mine and placed a lock washer and nut on the backside.  I can switch from left shoulder to right shoulder more comfortably while walking.

I read it. I considered it but I really hate the idea of drilling my stock. I got it to work. I cut the end off the strap which was folded to a point and ran it through them melted the end to prevent fraying.  Will post pics later.

I drilled mine also and it works great..

Drilled mine also and wouldn't have it any other way.

I kept mine as is, and have been happy with it. Seems to lay flatter against my back and stay put.

I drilled mine, added a nut to the inside, and never looked back. It is so much easier to switch shoulders when the hike gets on the long side.
