just bought one for the 870....the dot is wierd...not really a dot kinda like a few dots connected together? kinda in a horizontal line?

If you are looking at it inside it will be crazy looking.  Take it outside and will be a nice dot.

If not, then call Burris.

It should look like a dot.  If not then send it in and they will replace it.
