Hey Folks,

Are there 2 different RSF chokes?  One that shoots just lead and one for HTL?  I wanted to try one but all I can seem to find on the web is the "lead only" tubes.

Thanks!!

The factory sf is lead only....no mention of other shot types... :smiley-patriotic-flagwaver-an

the lead only choke has been hard for some to find. It patterns much better than the hevishot choke in most guns.

Midwest Gun Works typically carries the HTL compatible choke...although right now they are out of stock. The price is right at $9.99. The Remington product number is #19790.

I saw them on Midway last night while looking around.  I think they were in stock but I am not sure.

I found a Truglo SSX on sale for $28 so I am gonna give it a try and see what happens.

I can tell everyone where to find it.
Go to Remington's website and you can find the choke for lead only in the choke section.
They have them there. Not near as expensive as a Kicks, IC, PureGold etc.
I paid 20 bucks, shipping and everything for mine when I bought it.

I have told by those at Remington before they did test on there lead only chokes with Hevishot. They told me that Hevishot was OK for the lead-only chokes. Now the Remington Hevishot that is no longer made. I am not sure about the Hevi 13 stuff or heavier stuff.

I just went to Renington site and they now do not recommend to shot the hevishot stuff in there lead only chokes.
