What do you think. Is this barrel chromed or not?
PS.... Taking a decent picture of the inside of a barrel is not an easy thing to do.

First impression I would say chromed.... either that or you polished it to a gleaming silver mirror finish.

This a picture of my Rem 870SM barrel after cleaning her today. It was difficult to get a decent picture because of the very bright glare that I was getting from the inside of the barrel. Out of about 30 pictures these were the 2 best shots I could show.

Not chromed. Just slick as a whistle!

Just a touch up job is all. Brass bore brush, bore paste, steel wool, kroil, a drill and a few minutes.

I've never heard of a Remington 870 having a chromed barrel. Looks like you've done a good job of polishing!
If I had a dollar for every gobbler I thought I fooled I'd be well off!
