Hevi 13 Lot Numbers??

I read a lot on here about people referring to good and bad lot numbers of Hevi 13 shells.  Now I understand there are variables in the production of anything, but do they have a poor quality control department that allows "lots" of bad enough quality for people to complain about to hit the shelves?  I use Hevi 13 3.5-6-2.25 and have only bought them one time, patterened my gun a couple of times and killed a few turkeys with them.  Now I need more and after reading about bad "lots" it makes me worry especially since they are $4/shell.   Thanks for any info!

How about $6.00 a shell now at Cabelas. With rebate $5.00 if you only buy 2 boxes..

I was one of the people complaining about the #7's last year when my #'s dropped from the 280's to low 200's it was partly EM's fault and mine, They changed some components and I had a dirty gun, What bothered a lot of people including myself was they denied changing anything, But low 200's at 40 yards is nothing to sneeze at in reality, I found 5 boxes of Lot# 300325 right after hunting seson last year, a lot of people on here put up great #'s with that lot number and of the 1 I've shot put up my personal best of 299 in the 10 at a measured 40.

300325 and 300326 both put up good numbers for me. These lot numbers where #7s. I'm not sure about the #6s.

Were there any issues with differences of lot numbers in the 3.5" Mag Blends?

I would like to know this also. I don't remember hearing anything bad on the #6s or the blend. I would like to try the mag blends but as long as I can get the good #7s I'm going to stick with them.

If I remember correctly...it was just the #7's...personally I don't really see what the big fuss is about....200 at 40 yrds will kill a gobbler...to each is own

What about 20 gauge loads?
Is there any difference in the 20 gauge loads?  The red colored boxes that I purchased 2 years ago are #6,  1 1/4 oz loads.

Well I really wanted to try the #7s this year and was going to order some, but if I am taking a gamble on ordering a bad lot number than I guess I will just stick to the #6s.  Does anybody know if they have worked the kinks out of the #7s?

same way I feel - to the point  I am willing and eager to wager a very large sum of money that I can kill any gobbler 40 yards or closer with #7 hevi shot with any lot # 12ga they are willing to provide me .
