Thinking of getting a new vest.  Been looking at and OL' Tom, anyone have an opinion open to suggestions?

Wish I could help, but I got mine about 5 years ago from walmart when they still had dependable products.  It was there brand, fieldline, and was priced at $65 and I picked it up after the season for $10.  I love it.

I would look at ...
Super Elite III

I seen several post on the super Elite III seem to be very poplar.

If I was buying a new one it would a the super elite III. Or if you can find one a Mossy Oak bob Dixon vest I love mine.

I bought an Ol Tom Time & Motion Strap vest last year and highly impressed with it.  Before that vest I had the super elite III and would also recommend checking that vest out.  It really depends on what kind of hunter you are.  In the super elite I could carry EVERYTHING, which was convient but also led me to keeping some things I never used in my vest just because I could.  With the Ol Tom, I was forced to take a few things out (which was a plus for me) and only carry the things I really needed.

The Ol Tom's seat cushion was much more comfortable and easier to manage with the magnets than the big cushion on super elite.

Super Elite III is good. Ole Tom is good. Love them both.

Bob Dixon vest here. I love mine. I think mossy oak makes one similar to the Dixon vest called the limbhanger.

I'm looking for a new one this year as well. I've had ol trusty that I bought at walmart about ten years ago. I kind of hate to give it up. I feel like it has been with me from the start. I just want one that will not make me sweat to death. We definitely get some walking done in turkey season and My back usually is soaked from the pad and all. You guys let me know if you pick up a new one and how you like it. I'm still debating.

Any of y'all looking for a new vest should go check out wingsupply.com.  I just bought some things and noticed they have some hellacious deals on several different vests, right around $30!!

I have a Hunters Specialties vest I bought at Wally World in 1995, still using it today.  I can't bring myself to replace it.  They still make a similar one, I think it is called the Sportsmans Utility Vest.  It is the strap style.
