I bought a Stoeger 3500 last year and used the factory turkey choke last season but i'm interested in purchasing a new choke  this year. Money is kind of tight and I know each shotgun will pattern differently even if its the same make and model but, has anyone tested any chokes in this gun? I have the 26" barrel. Again money is kind of tight and I just don't have the cash to buy multiple chokes and test them.. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! I just don't know if I can wait for opening day! Already took off the first week of the season! Hope ever has a great season.

I've got a Trulock .665 that I used with my Benelli Supernova and it patterned great. Sold the supernova for a M2 semi-auto so its getting no use. PM me if your interested, it fits stoeger shotguns as well.

Those guns seem to shoot best with pretty tight chokes in the .640 to .655 range with lead or tungsten based shot. I'd also recommend that you really clean the bore before you pattern it with any shell or choke tube. It makes a difference. The Hevi-13 chokes work very well in those guns from my experience. If you combine that choke with H-13 shells, you'll have a real winner.

Thanks,
