Got 2 more strikers done, they're both in the classifieds.. I have been experimenting with the same finishing technique for the past few weeks and I really like it. It comes out as glassy, smooth, and very hard.  The osage has that ol' osage twang to it, and the walnut is more of a younger hen.

Thanks for looking!

Mike those are some good looking strikers. I have turned many Walnut strikers and they all look great, but I never could get a good sound using a Walnut striker. It maybe me, but I stopped turning Walnut strikers. Osage Orange makes a nice sounding striker.

Thanks!

A good walnut striker definitely needs to have tight, straight grain.  I've turned a couple good ones and several duds. This one is a good one. I was hoping it would be!

Yes it does.

Nice clean lines on those strikers.
