Has anyone ever turned any?
Does it turn good?
Nice grain or not?
Thanks!

Its kind of plain, but one of the few woods that you can turn to .001 and not break.

What he said...
I have never tried to turn it that thin, but it is a very bland grain, and turns well.

I have a striker made by West Augusta out of Bradford Pear that turned out really nice. It is the striker on the right side of the pic.

First off those are some good looking calls and I like the striker also. Still new to call making but I have about 10 call blanks from a Bradford pear drying for turning now from a tree my dad cut down recently. Some seem to be kinda plain like everyone has said, but a few have some interesting grain features too. Take a look in the turkey call section I have seen a few calls made from pear on it but idk if it was Bradford or not. Jason
