Many Predator Hunters seem to be shooting #4 Buck out of Turkey Chokes???

shot sizes T, TT, F, FF are the shot sizes next in line after BBB and are still considered birdshot...then you step up to buckshot #4, #3, #2, ect...I like #4 because there are 54 pellets in a 3 1/2" shell and with the 2x full choke at 40 yards the deer/yote is gonna get most of them ...

So when #4 buck is mentioned ther not talk'n about OOOO buck shot,  #4 buck is smaller shot than OOOObuck shot, correct ??

I gotta ask...What ya'll are call'n #4 buck aint the normal #4 shot correct ??

I've seen OO buck, OOO buck, but never #4 buck, & why were on this what exactly is Tshot.

#T shot is .200" caliber .IT patterns pretty good in my 10 ga in a steel load . havnt tried it in a lead or htl variety . 0000 buck is like .38 cal and #4buck is .24 cal . lol it can be confusing i guess . somtimes #T in lead loads are referred to as T buck .

You can easily find 12 Gauge loads in 000, 00, 1, and 4 Buck.  All of the big three companies offer them commercially.  I know Remington also offers 0 Buck as well.

You can easily find 16 Gauge loads in 1 Buck, and 20 Gauge loads in 3 Buck.

4 Buck is Not the same as #4 Lead, Steel, etc.

The pellet size chart data has been the same for 100's of years.
