I thought I would take a minute to give a quick call review. I came home a Friday and found a package in my mailbox and inside it was a turkey call. The call was made by Gary Taylor of Stone Road Turkey Calls. The call in question was a slate over glass in a laminated pot made from Spalted pecan I believe and Cedar. The striker that accompanied it was made from a piece of reclaimed barn wood. This call will do it all from soft yelps, purrs, clucks, hard cutts, loud raspy yelps, and does a fantastic flydown cackle. Add to the sound some fantastic craftsmanship and what I got was a call that I am not only proud to own, but its gonna be a killer too.
