Was wanting to change out my stock pad on my 835 but noticed limbsaver doesn't have a pad for a pre 2003 model.  Really want a precision fit instead of a slip on.  Who else makes a good pad for a 835 or what has some of yall done with same issue?

Limb Saver makes a grind to fit model.  That's what I put on my wood stocked 870 Express.  It ground down easily on a belt sander.

Another recommendation for the Limbsaver "grind to fit" pad. You can do it yourself or have your local gunsmith do it for you.

I also use Shooter's Friend Pads on all of my guns over Limbsavers.  That makes a good combo for reducing recoil to a very manageable level.

Thanks,

I know limbsaver pads are excellent.  I can't say for other after market pads.  If you need help, call limbsaver directly.  They have some fantastic customer service.  If you talk to Marcie, tell her Chris Stahly told you to call.
