Hey guys, me and a buddy want to hunt some Merriams this Spring. I wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions for a reasonable outfitter for a semiguided hunt. I done this last year and got a great place to go for my Rio. Thanks for any suggestions.

NM has some good public-lands Merriams hunting. If you decide you want to come over this way, let me know. I can get you pointed in the right direction.

I went with a buddy last year to Nebraska, we hunted at Twin-Rivers ranch, paid a trespass fee and had the ranch to ourselves for 3 days. We had no problem filling our tags in 2 days (both got 2). I don't know if these are pure Merriams birds, the tail feathers had a pinkish-yellow color to them, but it was still a blast!!!
