Any of you callmakers out there stingey with your sandpaper? I'll use a piece and try to get every corner and spot on that piece used up to the max. It's not like I don't have enough to go around but I still use everything I can.

I have enough sandpaper to fill a water tower, but I still use it till its shot. Once I see that its leaving marks on the wood, i pitch it.

It may start out as 100 grit but sand like 220 by the time I trash it. I need to start investing in more so I won't be so stingy with it.

Since we are on the subject, I know there are a bunch of different types of materials used in sandpaper but which do you get the best results and life out of?
