Vest Recommendation

I've had both the RNG 300 and the Sitka. You can't go wrong either way. My only complaint with the RNG is the pot call holders. It was a real tight fit and one of my pull tabs broke.

Only complaint with the Spring Legion vest is no adjustments on the side and so everything rides on the sides.  Im a L/XL shirt and 230lbs and even the XL version had everything on the hip.  The Limbhanger and Dixon and other real solid vests put your pockets more in front in my opinion.  That's what I never liked about the old Liberty and Spartan vests of the 90s. Put two straps on the sides of the Spring Legion vest and its the best simple vest on the market. Thing will last forever, hate I had to return mine. If youre smaller than a Large or don't mind it much the SL vest is very nice and hardy.

I'm 5'-7" and about 140 with a slim build. Most vests are huge on me so I've been running an RNG 200 for several years since I can cinch everything down to fit me. With that said, I've been interested in the Spring Legion but wasn't sure how it would fit. Do you think it will still be huge on me?

At your size the regular version will be perfect. Really nice vest. Will last a long time

I haven't tried many, but I've looked at a lot of them. For me the Sitka vest is nearly perfect. Slim, light enough, water bladder pouch, and most importantly for me it has a well designed layout. There is a pocket for everything you need but not extra places to store more things and create disorganization.
