Trumpet call makers design

I have found a certain call design that I have been able to run with some consistency. The horn I'm currently able to run is made by Jeremy Simpson. I simply believe I'm able to run this horn due to his design. I have tried horns with larger holes and I struggle with controlling the air in those type designs. Jeremy's horn also has a flat surface on the end of the bell versus a concave bell. I'm curious to know if there are other call makers that use a similar design. I have attached a picture for reference as to what I'm referring too in above information. Jeremy's calls on the right and JR Teague on left.

I am just the opposite. I like the open bell and control the air by inserting my finger up into the bell. I can play both styles but prefer the open bell. I can see where the flat base would be beneficial for those that lay the finger across the bell opening.

Anthony Ellis may be another one you would like as his internals are a bit tighter than others.

Forest, trees.

If you are meeting challenge, learn on a Jordan first; which the subject caller may be. Jordans have that small end for finer manipulation and have less to mess with you internally. The sound of a trumpet comes from you. The call just makes pulling on the elastic string of air inside it easier to do differently than just suckin' on a wingbone.

The best deal going for a Jordan is the Mosses Creek copy of Kenny Morgan's.

Thanks for the feedback so far!

I believe Chris Brumfiel makes some that are similar to that
