Weather was bad in south MS, but I went anyway. Shot one of three that came in silent. You can't get em unless you go..

You are prob the 2-300th hunter to try em by now. They are prob feeling the heat

I'm sure that's defiantley part of it. They don't give out to many tags for this hunt so it just surprised me to see this place so dead. I didn't have crazy expectations which is why I found some private for after this hunt ended. And I think it's crazy I haven't even cut a track. I got whooped in florida last year on a wma but I atleast called in hens and found fresh gobbler tracks and scat. 

one thing folks misconscrew about draw hunts ... the property being setup for draw doesn't mean it's special or a gold mine.... It just means the property needs limited/regulated access to keep turkeys from being extinct ...... that's it. Doesn't mean it's not good , but also doesn't mean it's special.
