Picked up a Kevin Dorsey trumpet off the Grand Nationals auction for a very reasonable price. Hopefully sounds as good as it looks. ABW and myrtle wood burl.

Congrats on a fine horn! He makes a good one. Very few reasonable priced trumpets on the NWTF auction. Crazy prices. A wingbone was going for 510. May have sold higher.

That is a well-crafted trumpet yelper. The turning is a lot more difficult than you can imagine. Keeping everything symmetrical and balanced is a challenge. This looks to have been done perfectly.
