My second thought is "how can new turkey calls improve upon what is already available on the market today?" There is only so much realism that can be obtained in turkey calling...and we reached that point a-ways back in time. If a guy is not killing turkeys with the calls that are on the market right now, they should probably be looking at other factors in their hunting rather than spending money on another call or two.
Of course, if somebody wants the newest, greatest, new-fangled turkey call and wants to fork over the cash for it, go for it. I'm sure Knight and Hale (or whoever runs the outfit now) will be tickled to take your money. Heaven knows, I have spent way too much of mine on turkey calls over the years...but I finally figured out that I don't need no new ones. I've dun run out of space to put them. 
Don't knock it til you see? They might come out with the newest acorn cracking call. The last one someone tried didn't do great. They've got an opening here.
I don't know about the benefits of carrying an "acorn cracker", but if they are coming out with a "rattling corn bucket" call, I'm all in!
