Truck Bed Cover?

It's not water tight but there has not been much leakage. None of the covers that I've looked at were actually water tight. This was more for security when traveling than anything.

Another Vote here for the BakFlip.. I love mine on my Tacoma .. easy access to the entire Bed if you need it.. and pretty dang solid and mostly waterproof (I say mostly) because in a hard rain I still get a tiny bit of water in the bed, but not a lot.. Also I bought a Pop and Lock for my Tailgate and wired it into my passenger side door unlock and contolled by my keyfob so it will lock the entire bed up.. https://www.popandlock.net/

I have the solid, one piece Undercover for my full size.  Takes two people to put on or take off, though that process only takes a minute or two.  While it is essentially waterproof (only water that gets in comes around the tailgate), and very secure with dual locks, in hindsight I'd rather go with the aluminum fold up or retractable like BAK - this one piece Undercover wasn't any cheaper than the roll up / fold up covers.  Anytime I need to haul something I need someone to help me take this thing off and put it back on.  Its just not that user friendly.

Look at the G4 Elite from Fold-a-cover. This is the best one I have found. Went through several before I found this one.

I have a soft tonneau and it's as close to water tight as I have ever seen. It doesn't have the protection of a hard cover but it does lock and it keeps the curious away. It is the soft tonneau cover and it ran my under $200.

Backflip Max4. Looks like the day I installed it in 2017. Solid construction, tight seal. Very happy with it.

I recently bought an Aluminum Bakflip MX4 for my 2022 F-150.  I had a vinyl rollup on my 2003 Tacoma that would last about 7 to 10 years (fade and eventually tear, 3 replacements over 22 years).  So far, I'm loving the Looks, Much Better Security (with the lockable tailgate and flush fit), 100% Bed access and 400 lb support weight limit.

Each of us have to ask ourselves, what are we willing to pay, how much security do we want, looks, warranty and how much bed will we lose when we have it installed.

I have only had the MX4 on the F-150 for a few months but it is a MAJOR upgrade to the vinyl in many areas.  It is pricy IMO but so far, the value, looks and warranty are much better than vinyl and I have FULL access to the entire bed without removing the cover.  Good Luck with your search.  Plenty of Choices.
