My buddy and i pulled a double on opening day in PA. I set a blind up last night after we watched 3 strutters head to roost as the forecast was calling for rain and the weatherman was right. Birds may have been pretty quiet on the limb but with the rain beating on the blind it was hard to tell. We got a small break about 45 min in but the rain picked back up. We seen a 2 hr window of a break in the weather so we kicked back for the next hour as we watched the field. Shortly after the rain stopped, we heard a gobbler in the distance but within range. I sporadically called as he answered and then we heard 2 fire off at the same time! Within minutes we were counting 1...2...pull. God blessed us with a PA opening morning double!!
