Duplex loads

I load a 8x9 for my 20 ga. It will produce a tighter pattern at 40.

How does it do compared to straight 8.5s?

have not counted holes, would take to dang long. I would say the duplex loads are 30% better.

Did some shooting today comparing straight 10s to 40% 9s over 10s. Both 7/8oz 3in 410. 390 IC choke

3 shot average for straight 10s was 175 in the 10in circle at 40yds. Highest count was 207.

3 shot average for the 9x10s was 166. Highest count was 198.

Two wet and two dry patches between every shot.
