Here is a video of my ceiling fan light.  When it is first turned on with the switch it flickers like this, then gradually slows until it stays on.  It has 2 remotes with 3 speeds for the fan and a light button which does on and off and dims.

Any thoughts?  I checked the connections at the switch, but haven't taken down the light yet.

Looks like time to call ghostbusters. I would go on line and find the manufacturer. Maye they can help out.

Looks like a disco room to me.I would leave it like that and make that my party room.

Now if u want to fix it then u might want to pull the ceiling fan down and check the connection there. :icon_thumright:
or since you have a remote then (just a wild guess)it might be in that  dunno.
But id say if u have already check your switch and it looks fine then its probbaly gonna be at your fan.

Note: i do not consider myself a electrician by no means.

I would have to say that you more than likely have a loose connection somewhere, check the neutral in the light, and it is arcing (could heat up and cause a fire) which is where you are getting the strobing effect from. I would look at it as soon as possible. Good Luck.

You should probably call an Exorcist........or maybe an electrician.  ;D

Not the switch, definately in the connection to or actually in the fan.  I urge you to get an electrician out there.  That could easily cause a fire if it arcs in a dry attic.

I think the problem is that you need to" Let your little light shine."

Unfortunately, I am trying to "Let it Shine".  Just not working well.  Try to set an example for the kids, but am lazy quite a few mornings here lately.

I won't turn it on again until I can get the light down and check it out.  There is no attic, it is in between the floor above and my ceiling.

Thanks guys!!  I knew OG would know!

So, after church I set out to fix my light.  So, I had already checked the connections at the switch and they were fine.  So I took off the cover and checked all exposed wires and found the LIVE wire had a slit in the cover, not the problem, so I taped it.  Then noted a ground wasn't connected any longer, so fixed that.  Still nothing.  Went to Lowe's and got a new switch and new module for the remotes and new batteries.  Well, first replaced the switch and nothing, then replaced the module, and VIOLA!, all fixed now.

I have no idea how long it had been there, but I would think it would last a little longer than at the most 15 years, but maybe not.

Here is a pic of the module.
