Nitecore rechargeable mosquito repellent

Anyone ever tried the Nitecore rechargeable "thermacell". The size looks good if it works.

I just looked them up thinking the rechargeable idea would be an improvement but you have to carry an extra power source to run it. Now you are carrying 2 things instead of one.

They look interesting. If the battery can last long enough I think I'd consider getting the small version. Depending on their pad pricing it could save a lot of money on thermacell fuel refills. The large model that looks like a thermacell seems like a gimmick. I have never heard of any of the ultra sonic sound devices actually repelling pests reliably. Also for hunting that function might be useless if the frequency it puts out is audible to whatever game you're pursuing. Definitely worth doing some more research on.

The small one is definitely the ticket. I have read reviews that the unit doesn't get hot enough. That's why I was hoping someone on here had used one.
