upon recommendation from fellow member here, i decided to try new grounded 2.0. Been running K&H RNG 300 and glenda green bag for years now. have to say i will be keeping this vest to try out this spring. it will not replace rng 300 or ggreen bag but i look forward to putting it to use.  especially when carrying daughters extra gear.

Same vest I've been looking at keep us posted on how it goes. Also what are the pros and cons of the KnH rng300? Been looking at that one also.

RNG 300 is a great streamlined, minimalist type vest. pot call holders are too small for pots and it does not have open rear game bag but h2o bladder holder instead. i don't hunt boxes so i cant comment on that feature. plenty of room and pockets for organization of other gear as well .it is lightweight and cool in hot weather here in the south east. Extremely adjustable fit. i never loved the seat but doesn't matter to me as i took it off. i carry pad from other maker and ggreen pad. i like it so much that after i hunted it first time i purchased another for back up. it has held up over last 5 seasons in NC.,SC,and VA.

I dont have a rng300 but I have a 200 and can agree the pot call pockets are to small and need something to secure them. I have backtracked more than once to find one that fell out

I switched to the grounded vest mid year last year. No complaints so far.

I have 2 rng200s, and one rng300. The rng300 is slightly modified, and right now, my most used vest. I removed the box call holster and replaced it with a zippered pocket, much like the pocket on the right side of the vest. As for the pot call pockets, i never had issues when i used to carry a pot. I now use that pocket for a sports mouth guard case that holds my yelpers... The reason that i primarily use the rng300 is because of the bigger pack space. For days that start off cold, and end warm, i can shed layers and store some of them in the pack with my water. I also hunt in the rain and can put packable rain gear in it on rainy days. Other than that, extra pockets are good for snacks... im a leave the truck in the morning and not return unless i kill a bird, or move spots kind of guy. So i try to keep things light and minimal, but still have the essentials - moon floss, picardin, snacks, water. Which again, is why i like the bigger pack. Im thinking on combining my rng200 straps with my rng300 pack. Maybe the perfect blend?

I cant really think of many cons for me... Much like SWAMPFOX, i liked them so much that i bought multiple for backup. I also removed the seats on mine - only i didnt replace them... The cons it has had, ive modified (box call holster converted to zippered pocket). Its affordable, SUPER lightweight, awesome patterns, comfortable, and theyve all been durable for me... everyone is different tho, so this is just my 2 cents.

Cons for the RNG200 - cant fit anything in its pack, with a full 1.5-2 litre h2o bladder.

How well does the magnet on the seat hold the seat up in place?

I also just got the grounded 2.0, going from the rng 200, the pot call pockets are annoying on the rng 200, looking forward to the grounded vest for youth season, the seat is also great, we will see how it does loaded down,

I don't have one but wish more would make a vest like final rise with a waist belt, so you take pressure off your shoulders when loaded down

Does the seat magnet seem as strong as they say?

Seems stronger than the others I've had, just haven't had it out yet

Seams to be an excellant magnet. Never once have I had the seat come down on me out hunting.
