Special Run on Browning A5

Nice gun, but not drilled for optic and 3 1/2 - 12 ga... way over kill for a turkey gun... IMO.... Better guns on the market for turkey hunting in that price range or less...

If I'm not mistaken this shotgun could possibly fire 2 3/4 and 3inch shells , and I don't care for optics on a shotgun, but the 24in barrel would be nice...

That would definitely make for a sweet turkey gun!  As for the lack of optics mounting, I wouldn't doubt that one or two turkeys were killed with auto 5s before anyone even thought about putting an optic on a shotgun!!  In fact, I bet one or two are still killed every year in modern times!!

I've been checking these out each time I go to Green Top and it has grown and grown on me.  I only need one A5 so I traded my current 26" A5 for a 24" A5,  Green Top gave me a decent trade and took a little off the 24" A5.  Proportions just seem right.  On May 2, 2024, Green Top had 114 24" A5s in stock.  Now, 113 plus one used slightly dinged up 26" A5.

I have a love/hate relationship with Green Top. Every time I stop in, I buy a gun or two. Ugh!
