What file do you like better? First(green)has more front, second(orange) has less front but more rasp. Also, what can I improve on?

I like em both. Both sound like they could come from the same hen in different states of excitement. 1st file the hen seems a little aggravated/excited and the second file seems like a more calm, layed back hen. Practice both and learn when to use which level of excitement.

I didn't do anything to change tone and they're both from the same trumpet. So that makes sense.

I like the top one just a touch better, both are very nice!!

For my ears, the first one sounds better.  It has a discernible front and back end.  The second one sounds flat to me.  The front and back end seem to run together.  Did you run them in the same place?  The acoustics sound entirely different.  Both will kill turkeys, it just depends on what they are in the mood for on any given day.
