Grounded vest comparison

Been thinking about picking up a new vest before next season and the Grounded vests are on the top of the list. Does anyone have some real world 1.0 vs 2.0 comparison on them they could share? Thanks.

I have a 1.0 - great vest in my opinion- a lil heavy but well thought out pockets and a great seat and strong magnets - only issue I had was a buckle they had on shoulder straps was right where I shouldered my gun when sitting - my plastic stock on that plastic buckle made a lil noise that I ended up covering the buckle with moleskin - think they fixed that on the 2.0- no vest Is perfect but I'd say this is a overall great vest - mine is in year 2 and holding up good so far

Can the seat be removed from the vest? Been considering getting the 2.0 if so for next season.

Can the seat be removed from the vest? Been considering getting the 2.0 if so for next season.

I just got a 2.0 a couple of weeks ago. Yes you can remove the seat. I like it so far. Seems well built.

I have both. The layout is great. They are basically the same vest. On the 1.0 a issue was the adjustment nickeled would loosing up while hunting. You would constantly be re adjusting throughout the hunt. The 2.0 corrected that issue with different buckles. The 1.0 comes in new bottomland and the 2.0 comes in greenleaf. They may come in other camo colors as well. I'm not sure about that. The difference between the 2 are just a couple minor upgrades. It's a little heavy and a little warm. I have used several vest and for me these are about as close to perfect for me than everything else I have used. The owner Drew is a nice guy and communication is great. He will answer a phone call himself or will return your call pretty quick. I would recommend either vest.

I'm not a vest person anymore, but Grounded does make a good looking vest and service also makes a big difference ....
