Franchi Affinity 3 Trigger Upgrade?

I have had nothing but problems with this gun but it is finally shooting somewhat consistenly although it is still jamming some and I did have a misfire as well today. It actually patterned really well and i dont have time to replace it before the season and I really cant shoot my 12 gauges as the recoil is too much on my shoulder and i am already scheduled for shoulder surgery after the season. Anyway the gun patterns well but the trigger creep is the worst i have ever experienced and unfortunatley MCarbo doesn't make a replacement triggger spring for this POS. Has anyone had any luck with replacing the trigger on this gun or modifing it to address the trigger creep?

Thank You!

Try looking in search bar, people report that trigger is same as Benelli M2
Good luck, I love my FA 3 , but havent killed a Tom with it yet..

This is what I used on my Affinity 3 20ga. Excellent trigger afterwards and I haven't had any reliability issues either. Spendy for a couple springs, but TTI makes great stuff.

In reading some older threads about the Affinity trigger, it sounds like i only need the Taran Tactical Trigger spring upgrade for $7.99 and not the hammer spring. Can anyone verify this?

Thank You!!

can't speak to the affinity 3 but I did put a taran tactical spring in my first generation affinity 20ga and It improved the trigger substantially.   Its been a few years so I can't quite remember the part exactly.  When I bought the affinity initially it wasn't cycling flawlessly so I ran a good number of heavier loads through it. It still wasn't consistent with all shell brands even though the gun was kept super clean and lubed.  I eventually  relegated the gun to turkey duty only figuring it will cycle the big heavies just fine.

Edit: just looked in the gunsmith box and I still have 2 springs: my original affinity hammer spring and
I also have the tartan tactical trigger spring with a self note saying that it made the trigger a bit too light (2lb. 12oz.)!
So Im guessing that I got the kit with both hammer and trigger spring and only ended up using the TT hammer spring.
Regardless the trigger was much improved!
As far as the gun function, the issues I had was with cycling the 2nd shell. Never had any misfire issues although the inertia guns are notorious for the bolt not rotating into battery if you try to feather the bolt closed.

Thanks for the info! I ordered the springs. The trigger pull isn't the issue at 4 lbs but the creep is ridiculous. Mine jams less with the 3 inch shells but it still jams and misfired on the second shell (bolt didn't close all the way I'm guessing as the firing pin didn't dent the primer). I hate this gun.  :(
