870 express barrel shortening

Have a 1994 model 870 express 20 ga w 26" barrel that sees little use. The 21" barrel costs as much as a whole gun. Can the express barrel be shortened to 23" or 21" and rethreaded for a turkey choke?

Look up Rose Action Sports, he has cut and rethreaded over 1300 barrels.

personally, if I couldn't get it threaded for Remington threads I wouldn't waste my time or money.

There's. 21" on eBay for 260

It'll prob cost half that at least to cut/thread. And then afterwards you don't have two barrels
