Anyone else have an affinity for Rohm Brother short boxes? Share a pic or two.

This was my very first box call, all walnut, and I got it almost 30 years ago. It just has that great raspy yelp and has struck and worked many birds over the years.

A quality paddle caller will most run itself.  It just needs someone to carry it around the woods. Yoder409
Over time...they come to learn how little air a good yelper actually requires. ChesterCopperpot

Yes! My first real hunting call, poplar/cherry. Will post a pic this evening. Yoder and I had this discussion at Unicoi. Great box calls. I hunted mine for several years.

I think I only have one that is "Rohm Brothers", proper.

But I have a few others that came out of Dale's (Rohm Father's) shop.    ;D

Spring Creek Calls

This 2001 all walnut banquet call by Dale Rohm has ended the life of a bunch of gobblers in the early 2000's.

That's the thing about the gazillion box calls that Dale did for the NWTF over the years............

THEY'RE ALL KILLER CALLS !!!!!!!!

Actually.......for being production calls......they are some of the best sawn & glued boxes out there.

I have a one-sider that I got 'through' a close friend.  My buddy knows a family near my area that the Rohms used to hunt with back in the day and they had brought a "pile" of calls to their house.  He got me one from one of the family members after I commented how nice his sounded once while we were hunting together.

Great box calls from some great guys! Not gonna find a better box call for the money. I've got an all walnut and a ph/mahogany box from Rohm Brothers. Regularly hunt both boxes and will be getting more from them in the future.
