Academy Sports in my Area / turkey ammo

I was at my local Academy Sports and they have a pretty good stock of regular Winchester turkey load and Winchester XR longbeards in 12 ga. You might want to check out the ammo section in your area.

They just happened to be stocking the shelves Friday when I picked up my new 20ga. Winchester double X #5 for $13.99

I went to the one in Madison ms and they had almost nothing.
No 410 at all
No 28 ga
12&20 only and not much of that...
Had to drive to the bass pro

Most of the time if you ask the guys and girls in that department they can tell you when they will have stock of turkey ammo... Mine was full of turkey stuff including vest and they also had some nice new youth vest in stock... hard to find youth vest ...

i asked and i got shrugs
when i say they did have any 410 or 28ga, i don't mean just turkey loads... they didn't have ANYTHING
had a couple of 12ga boxes of lead turkey loads but thats it.
very little handgun or rifle either

luckily there is a bass pro 20 minutes from me

I hate that for you ... our area is really getting stock back up with ammo and turkey loads ....

Was looking for some cheap target loads for son to shoot coons.
