Post Arctic Blast Scouting

Anybody else go out after the cold snap? I went out for a stroll yesterday. I saw a few birds, they did not look happy. Saw 2 small groups of toms that were sluggish but active. No hens spotted. A buddy in Maine reported 2 frozen hens in a roosting spot but no other birds sighted. Wondering how everyone made out? Z

Been out, found fresh scratches, no sightings. They are there though. Been a fairly snow free winter here so far, hopefully the birds faired well......
