Gun carving or dipping?

Looking for some help. I would like to give my father a shotgun for a Christmas gift. I would like to personalize the carving of the butt and magazine area if it was wood or can a guy personalize a design for dipping. This would not be a design already made up. It's a design of his life type of thing. Not worried about cost. Any thoughts?

I would think somebody could personalize a gun wrap to honor your father and his life's accomplishments or some found memories.

One of the problems I could see with doing a dip would depend how detailed you plan to make it. There is some distortion of the film during the dipping process as it forms around uneven surfaces.

Best option for a fast turn around take your design to a lazer printer they can do it and it will look like a photo
