I am making another mantle for my daughter. My FIL took the end cuts from the one I made - he was into making stuff on a lathe back then. He has since changed hobbies.
So I have 2 pieces, live edge, back and top and bottom is squared - about 12-16" long with a decent amount of heartwood (probably 6-8" in places). Milled by buddy and have been air dried under cover for 2 years-tree came down in Hurricane Michael. I have no use for them and thought maybe a call maker would want them. I am in North Florida (just west of Tallahassee) but travel occasionally. If someone is interested, they are free to anyone that could use them. I can send you pics if you want to see if it is worth your time. I hate throwing them away, but if no one speaks up in a year or so, I will just toss them.
I just figured maybe someone would want them. Price is right.
