Those are real nice!!  My mom used to live in Palmdale and loved trout fishing.
If memory serves me right, they used a garlic bait...maybe power bait?  Been too many years
but the scenery in your photo is way cool.

Nice fish, right there, Socal..man.. Do you pan fry them?. I've eaten a bunch of brookies, not many rainbows. Native brookies rolled in seasoned flour and pan fried will bring you to your knees. It is that good..Mike

Tclark They were bitting on the ol' garlic power bait,and It helped that I soaked it in some garlic smelly jelly.
Hognutz I bbq them with some lemon pepper and lots of fresh lemon juice they are fantasitic that way and jay their good brother.
