Bloodwood Striker

I've always run a bloodwood striker on my ceramic calls with good results... The other day I tried it on a green slate and it sounded really really good... Have any of you all ever tried a bloodwood striker on green slate or slate in general?

Yes, bloodwood makes a good striker, my go to bloodwood is Clay Townsend bloodwood striker
