WI youth hunt success

It was a fun day with the step daughter. We had a bird gobbling from the roost in the morning but only answering a call once. After making some moves on the bird it slipped away from us. After taking her out to breakfast we tried a new spot. We were in a public ag field where the wind was wipping and we could barely hear anything. A gobbler appeared in the distance and slowly worked its way in. It put on a good show pecking at the hen decoy and attacking the jake before she made the shot at 20 yards with the 410 my grandpa gave me when I was a kid. It was her first day hunting and now shes hooked. My birthday was yesterday and this was the best gift I got. Thanks for reading.
