I know this has been covered before but I can't find any videos or how to's with a tube call. My cousin who is a great hunter and caller called me in a huge Tom on Memorial Day in New York and this call got him really fired up. He ended up buying me one a few weeks later which I would like to use next season. How do you guys line up the latex on the call? Also, I would love to learn how to gobble. I have been trying, but still cannot get it. If there is nothing online can anyone recommend a dvd to buy for calling? (the one I got is the old style quaker boy)

Thanks

I dont know if this will help it may not heres a link of me running a tube call. I will try to post one how I put the latex on a tube call and tighten it to tune it. I gobble on mine by doing what you would do to produce a feeding call on a duck call or I will gobble saying tuka-tuka-tuka-tuka-tuka real fast into the call found this way to be hardest just dont give up on it cause most do but once you got it you got it!--Lyle

Ernie Calandrelli gives the best how to demo on tube calls that I've seen.

Thanks Lyle, that calling sounds awesome!!

At least I have a whole season to get this thing down. The gobbling part is the most challenging. Do you put a lot of pressure on the reed when you are gobbling or just a little?

I do put more on the reed when gobbling and not as much when yelping!
