Bought new gun, need choke tube recommendations

I bought a Mossberg 930 12 ga. turkey gun today. It came with a xx full choke, which is a very good choke. Problem is, I shoot Federal TSS 3" 9 shot. This choke tube is for lead only. Is there anyone that shoots this gun? If so, what choke tube would be good for what I shoot? I read that some Carlson's Browning chokes are compatible with the 930, but I've never used one. Not sure if Indian Creek has one for the 930. I use a Jellyhead on my other 12 ga. and a TSS tube on my 20 ga., but they don't make either for the 930. Any help would be appreciated.

Perhaps go on down to the Mossberg patterning forum, you will find some good posts there that will help, or the turkey guns forum. Plenty of good info out there!

I believe the Mossbergs use Browning/Winchester Invector chokes.

Not Invector Plus, there is a difference.
Love to hunt the King of Spring!

Just a thought? TSS is really unnecessary imo in a 12. Why not try lead? Bet there are many many thousands of birds shot by guys on here shooting 12s w lead. The benefits are more substantial with sub gauges.

My brother bought that same gun last season. Excellent pattern running a Carlson TSS tube in it.

Go to the Trulock website and look around. I have been happy with .585 with tss.

I would check with other turkey hunters and see if they may let you test some of there turkey chokes.
Brand wise I would suggest Indian Creek chokes. I would suggest in trying .665, .670 and .675 if you can find them.
Plus I would suggest to try other TSS companies loads. They tend to pattern better than Federal TSS.
But they may be too expensive to try. As others have suggest check out the Mossberg Patterning Board.

I just checked to Mossberg Patterning board and there a few patterns with 930 Mossbergs.
It looked like to me the Indian Creek .675 was working well in the 930 Mossbergs with most TSS loads.

660 to 665 will fix you up.

If I decide to go with a Sumtoy choke, how would I order it? Would I just call you and tell you what I need?
