TSS safe

I have a old sears and roebuck bolt action 410 fixed full choke. Best I can gather is they were made from the 40s through the 60s. My daughter wants to hunt Turkeys try this year. Is TSS safe in vintage guns?

If a pellet gets loose from the wad it will score the bore. It is uncommon for that to happen, but it does happen.

I've shot it in a couple of old ones for several years with no problems
