Had a wild hair tonight......

A good friend of mine named Kenny C., had sent me a little box caller a long time agao, he called it his turkey buzzard call, as he says "It may call one of them critters"...so tonight I was messing with a little box caller, 10 - 1/2" long made from butternut with a walnut paddle and it looked so plain...so...I thought I would play it up a little bit with some of my world famous artwork and woodburning..."it's a small small world!" What ya think? pappy....oh...by the way this one sounds sweet too! Never liked walnut with butternut on th elong boxes, but when you shorten them up it does pretty well....

My kind of call my, kind of hunting sort of reminds me of Rumpelstiltskin in a way.

Hi Jack,
No doubt, you can make most anything! Just curious, now that the season is over do you and the other call makers continue to make and list calls throughout the year, or is it strickly seasonal for most. Just want to know if I should keep checking in.
Thanks very much for the strikers by the way.

I continue to post calls all year, sometimes I end up making duck or goose or squirell or owl or whatever the mood is as the seasonal work slows down to allow me the opportunity to make all tyoes of calls. I am sure other callmakers have the same opportunity and will be posting throughout the year, so I would advise anyone to keep an eye open all year and watch the eye candy pop.......
