Heavier than walnut.  Comparing it to a Watkins Bloodwood, I cant tell much difference. Of course different size and thickness.  Compared to an Irving Whitt Madagascar Ebony, light as a feather.

I have one of his purpleheart over mahogany and his lid's are pretty thick... makes for easy running call .. IMO .. that's a good looking call for sale ...
