just hens and jakes today

Hunted a spot today that I hunted Saturday.  Saturday I saw and heard 2 gobblers along with plenty of jakes and hens.  Today I saw nor heard any gobblers but saw 2 jakes and 6 hens.  They literally hung out for a long time about 15 - 20 yards from me before moving off.  I'm not the only one that hunts the area, do you think one or both the gobblers got shot Sunday or Monday.  I think I just saw the younger crowd today.

Guess it's a possibility.  However, could just be an off day for them. Yesterday, I heard one gobbler at daylight and then I heard one gobble at fly up last night. This morning I heard 3 gobblers this morning . Sometimes they just wont gobble.

That's what I'm hoping.  I've hunted there 4 times within a week and today was the first time I haven't seen a gobbler.  I'll check them out again Thursday morning.
