Hi gang, long time no PC.  :-(
Came to Cleveland clinic April 21st, had LVAD surgery May 3rd, the another surgery May 4th to stop bleeding and clotting.
 Getting stronger every day and enjoying re-hab and my bride being with me.  :-)

Target date to head home is June 3rd...I can't wait!!

Thanks so much for your financial support  and prayer support....please don't stop now. Still have a long row to hoe. Prayer is the most precious gift.

Here's to a speedy recovery.

I did a little research, and it seems like LVAD means Left Ventricular Assist Device, a device that helps the heart pump oxygen rich blood through the body or allow a weakened heart to recover.  I hope this is the right description.  It's all I could find.  It sounds like a pretty involved procedure and a scary one at that.

Hopefully you get well soon, and make your home date of June 3rd.

Also you can watch the surgery on youtube...just punch in LVAD surgery...I thought it was awesome.
