Anyone know when these will be available again? I know they filed bankruptcy, so are they gone for good?  All the gun stores around me are sold out and are telling me as of now none are being produced.
Are 870's a thing of the past, or we don't know yet?  Finding a 20ga is like finding a needle in a haystack right now, unless you want to pay triple the price on gunbroker.

The new company that bought the manufacturing aspect will probably post what they plan to do during or after shot show.

Took me all of last year to find one. Luckily my hunting partner found a needle in hay stack at a Walmart!

I was shopping in Walmart today in Connecticut of all states. 2 Walmart's sell guns and I'll be damn if they didn't have a youth model 870.  I thought I'd struck gold!  I bought it quick!

I'm seeing them regularly in Wal-Marts. Probably a waste of time to call, just pop in to every Wal-Mart location within reasonable driving distance. They're out there!

Just buy a mossberg 500.  Just as many chokes available and they'll pattern every bit as good, if not better than an 870.  I have an 870, a 500 and a 1300 and the 870 took more tinkering to get the same quality of patterns as the other two.  That and you know what you're buying and from WHO...
